Setting the case of file names

You can use the FileMonkey "Case" feature to convert the case (capitalization) of file names, folder names or file contents to upper-case, lower-case or proper-case.

This tutorial will tell you how to make all target files have lower case file names (no capital letters in their file names).

For example, files like "Monkey.TXT" will be renamed to "monkey.txt".

1.

In the main window, target the files that you wish to work on (Click HERE for a targeting tutorial).

2.

Select the "Quick-Find, Case" menu item from the main window.

3.

Set up the case window as above

4.

Click on the start button to start the operation.
