How to move all files up one directory

Move files up one directory

Copy Files Window

1.

Target your files. Click HERE for a targeting tutorial.

Note: to target files in sub folders, check the "Include Sub Folders" check box in the main window. These files will not be listed in the main window.

2.

Once you have targeted your files, select the "Quick-Find, Copy" menu item from the main window.

3.

This will open the copy move window.

4.

Set up the window as shown above. Note that you can enter tags by using the "<" button in the copy files window.

The preview pane at the bottom of the copy window will show you the current and new file paths of the first few files that appear in the main window.

5.

When you are ready to start the operation, click on the "Start" button.
